THE MOTTO
Not me but you
The motto or watch- word of the national service scheme in ‘NOT BUT YOU’. This express the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service and appreciation of the other man’s point of view and also to show consideration for fellow human beings. It underlines that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of society whole. Therefore it should be the aim of the NSS to demonstrate this motto in its day-to day programme.

NSS Objectives
- To inculcate sense of principal values, National Integrity, patriotism, Non-violence, secularism and equality.
- To develop oneness helping hand to needy.
- To develop sharing and feel responsible.
- To develop to meet the nature emergencies in natural disastrous.
The College N.S.S unit has strength of 100 volunteers. The unit undertakes socio-economic and health-care activities in slum and rural areas independently and also in collaboration with GO’s and NGO’s. It also conducts special camps in the adopted villages to create awareness among villagers about AIDS and other chronic health related problems. All these activities are conducted every now and then to inculcate in the students, time and again the sense of societal obligations.

NSS voluntaries along with NSS officer Smt. Gouri Kashinath co-ordinated and arranged the programme and activities within and outside the campus.
- NSS voluntaries conducted survey on pregnant women in adopted slum area Ambedkar nagar and free medical check up was arranged.
- NSS voluntaries participated in national pulse polio programme and vaccinated the children of slum area.
- The programme of Shramadana arranged in the premises of Government higher primary school Ambedkar nagar.
- Water conservation programme arranged in adopted slum area.
- Special guest lecture arranged by NSS unit.
- Roll of self help group in empowerment of women in Ambedikar Nagar.
- Awareness of self defense to volunteers.
- Family planning awareness programme in Ambedikar Nagar.

- The programme of Shramadana has arranged in our college premises on eve of Independence Day.
- Guest lecture programme has arranged by NSS unit on the topic self defence.
- NSS officer and voluntaries are participated in National Level Pan India Shramadana programme.
- Gandhi Jayanthi observed by NSS unit.
- NSS unit has celebrated National Integration Day.

- Special guest lecture arranged by N.S.S unit on the topic ‘Food Adulteration’.
- S.S unit with the collaboration of Family Planning Association observed ‘World Population Day’.
- Special guest lecture has arranged by N.S.S unit with the collaboration of Inner Wheel Club on the topic of “Awareness of Brest Feeding”.
- Plantation Programme was held by N.S.S unit with the collaboration of forest department plantation programme was arranged.
- In network with International Youth Day – Painting and debit competitions conducted for students by N.S.S unit.
- Raksha Bandhan celebrated in blind school by N.S.S officer and voluntaries.
- S.S officer and voluntaries has taken part in pulse polio programme and vaccinated to children.

NSS voluntaries along with NSS officer Sri. Virupkshayya Salimath co-ordinated and arranged the programme and activities within and outside the campus.
- N.S.S officer has arranged orientation programme for new N.S.S voluntaries.
- Raksha Bandhan celebrated in West Police Station by N.S.S officer, voluntaries, N.S.S committee members.
- National programme Under SWACH BHARATH ABHIYAN Shramadhana was arranged with regard to clean, “Cleanness Pledge”.
- Special guest lecture has arranged by N.S.S unit on the topic of ‘Environmental Protection’ under the SWACH BHARATH ABHIYAN.
- Essay and ellocation competition conducted by N.S.S unit on the Eve of Gandhi Jayanthi and Lal Bahaddur Shastri Jayanthi.
- One day training programme was arranged by Red Ribbon Club and N.S.S unit with collaboration of DAPCO.
- The various competitions were arranged in regard with celebration of National Voters Day.
- Red Ribban Club of N.S.S unit Organised elocution essay, poster making, skite competitions. N.S.S voluntaries participated in these competitions.
- Special guest lecture has arranged by Red Ribbon Club of N.S.S unit on “AIDS”.
- NSS unit with the collaboration of Nehru Yuva Kendra has arranged training on “Youth Leadership and community development”. N.S.S officer and voluntaries participated in the training.
